The war in Iraq also called the war on terror, besides having been mobilized in line with Old Testament prophecy, turns to prove the predictions of Jesus in Matt. 24:6-7, "And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom." We have seen political and social instability, famine, earthquakes, and storms, along with what says here, "wars and rumors of wars,". Now we must look at the key phrase "For nation shall rise again nation."
We are facing an upsurge of hostilities in all places as "nation again nation" where increasing hatred with blind rage is exposed. Nation means: culture, race, tradition, unique mentality and religion, an on such issues of ethnicity people in countries and in kingdoms are divided. Ethnicity has its roots in ages past, and as is carried down from generation to generation brings these kinds of arguments which now have been on the rise to an international level. Tragically, it is a framework of notions in a form of religion which stubborn people exploit with fanaticism, extremism, bias, intolerance, and cause wars that cannot be easily extinguished.
God is directly against these kinds of radical concepts, forms of religion, tyrants and regimes that are brainwashed into the network of terrorism. As a consequence of their desperately wicked and morally corrupt escalation and in opposition to their deceitful noxious wars, now comes this war which was mandated by God. As the first majestic start of His End of Time Project, He had predicted long ago the inevitable down fall, disgrace and death of Saddam Hussein and the end to his oppressive dictatorship. The wounding effects of this regime in hatred, fear, revenge and betrayal has infected its entire population and had to be stopped. God did not intend for the US to take over the land or to subjugate the people, but to offer an opportunity for healing, reconciliation and unity. God wanted he presence of the alien (foreigner's army to provide security and support for the establishing of a new legitimate government and to stay as long as it was necessary according the phrase in Jeremiah 51:2, "...and they shall clear her land."
[As it was expounded earlier, this Hebrew verb 'baw-kah' means "to depopulate, to pour out"; and as it applies to the ground, "her land," here 'baw-kah' means "to abound, to be plentiful, to become abundant, and to spread like a vine"!

Freedom was quickly accomplished, but freedom without law and order, which is anarchy, leads again to destruction. Ironically, for the same reasons - loyalty to the evil old regime and ethnic bias - the Iraqi population, instead of accepting the Divine gift, they reacted with such a rebellious opposition only to bring an unkind and awkward situation.
Certainly, this disgraceful, unwelcome situation is led by evil spiritual forces that are pressing on such an insidious resistance in the country. Even though the recent dictator was removed, the maladies of injustice of his governing system and the enmities of ethnicity remain to be exploited among the people. Pus, the same malicious resistance which is seen in a widespread scale in the Middle East was mixed in by the neighboring countries.
Then really, what is God's accomplishment there?
God is using this situation in Iraq, which He has prophesied as Babylon, to show as a microcosm the unkind reaction that occurs in the whole world towards salvation, unity and justice. As the world reacted negatively to the plan of God in His New Covenant for spiritual liberation - by His good will and an act of kindness toward the people with Jesus Christ - the same negative way the larger part of the Iraqi population responded with rebellious opposition and did not receive the good will declaration which was give by the US Armies. So, with this dramatically stage operation God demonstrates a spiritual lesson in which He proves that the world is a replica of Babylon by all its evil manners and deeds as they are featured as an identical copy in Iraq.
However, there is yet another immensely important point that comes out of this; the rebellion and the heinous actions by Saddam Hussein are shown as a metaphor for the evil that is put forth by a person's character, except that the addiction of evil in this leader meets an extreme point. That explains also why many are still sympathizers of Saddam, because in the secret, dark parts of their heart they find a lot of similarities with his character in themselves. Based on the Word of God, Saddam is shown like the most hopeless case of a man who can possibly obstruct the moral code of God. This is the leader whom God had appointed to be the representation of the sinful moral decline in human nature. There is a verse that fits perfectly this transition of traits that God allowed Satan in this temporary 'bios' "earthly life" to influence, adapt familiarize a person as to become adept and be conversant like the king of Babylon.
Moreover, the same malignant type of character is shown by every insurgent in that country and abroad. As for this transition of traits that God allowed Satan in this temporary 'Bios "earthly life" influence, adapt and familiarize a person as to become adept and be conversant like him there is a verse that fits perfectly with the king of Babylon, in Proverbs 26:10, "The big master who twists (travails, perverts, transmits a disease to) all things, hires (employs, pays salary, invites) both the fool ones, and hires (employs, pays) the transgressors (the ones transitioned, crossed over, altered - insurgents, terrorist).
From the fierce encounters with the insurgents in the aftermath of the invasion we notice how much they are affected by the same wickedness, moral decline and sheer opposition to justice. That they resist unto death any institution of legal governance is telling us of the enormity of a compelling effect that has its roots not only in the deposed king, but initially in heaven, and it is passed on to display on earth such and escalation of evil. There must be a translucent spiritual influence in this situation of which the Bible is opening to us a heavy curtain that conceals it.
